Taking the first element of each matrix

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi all,
I have 128 1x5000 and 128 1x10000 matrices. I want to take the first element of each matrix and write it down to a new output file with the matrix name next to it.
For instance,
A=[1,2,6......] B=[2,2,4,8,...] . . . Z=[3,8,9......]
Output=[A,1;B,2;....;Z,3]
Many thanks !

A=[1 2 3]
B=[2 3 4]
out={sprintf('A%d',A(1)), sprintf('B%d',B(1))}
