How find DELAY for reconstruction by embedding of Lorenz attractor using single variable.

Hi everybody, I want to find suitable DELAY for reconstuction of Lorenz series using single variable in MATLAB. As I have to do one step ahead prediction of Lorenz time series. Can anyone help me.
