Li-Ion Battery Pack modeling

Hello,
I'd like to know if the model of a cell that consists on a VOCV + Ro + branches RC could be usefull also for a battery pack. I mean, will the whole system perform as the typical electrical model of a single cell shown in most documents such as the following one?
If it isn't the same, could anyone tell me how do I estimate the SOC for the whole battery pack?
Thank you,
Jordi.

A simplified approach can be used to simulate the pack in this way, the Lithium-Ion Battery Pack with Fault example is showing something similar for cell 1-9.
A better approach would be to use a battery pack model and do the estimation of SOC at the cell level. In MATLAB 2022b a new product called Simscape Battery has been introduced. There are several examples about how to design and simulate the battery pack and battery management system.
