Excllink unusable - Class Not Registered Error

I am unable to use the spreadsheet link add-in for excel.

Context:

I just added exlink addin : C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2019a\toolbox\exlink\excllink.xlam to excel add-ins.

Whenever I boot excel or try to interract with add-in (e.g. by starting Matlab from the add-in), I get the following Microsoft Visual Basic error:

Run-time error '-2147418113 (8000ffff)':

Class not registered.

Actions already taken :

• Rebooting my pc and excel : no improvement
• Checking 'SpreadsheetLink' under Tools/References in Excel Visual Basic window : no immediate improvement, does not stay checked upon rebooting excel

I also found the following 2018 (outdated?) help post, however I cannot find the fm20.dll in either specified folder.

Spreadsheet Link : Version 3.4.1

Excel : Office 365 / Version 2008 (Build 13127.21506 Click-to-Run)

Solved the issue myself.

Running /regserver on R2019a as described in the link below worked for me.
