Matlab prompt is not opening when Trying to install matlab 2021b in ubuntu 20.04

Trying to install matlab in ubuntu 20.04, but after running the command sudo./install.sh, nothing shows up. Not able to understand why the prompt of matlab isnt showing up

I have seen two other people report the same difficulty, one for the same release as you, and the other person was using Parrot OS, if I recall correctly.

Doesn't work for (X)ubunto 20.04 ... ´cause you can't do su export ....

There is only sudo available.

xhost +SI:localuser:root

before running the install script as super user.

The problem is that it will not rum in sudo, and as a regular user it cannot use the default directories

Great! Finally I have Matlab on my Ubuntu :)

It worked for me in Ubuntu when I ran the installation as superuser.

sudo -s --> password --> cd PATH_TO_DIC --> sudo .\install
