How to provide users non-administrative right to activate MATLAB?

5 views (last 30 days)
I've installed MATLAB on multiple class computers (Windows 10 machines). However, whenever a user wants to run MATLAB they need to activate it first on their on user account. We have a campus wide license, thus every student activate the software with their school account.
The issue is that the activation requires admin right and I can be there to enter my admin creds everytime a student wants to use MATLAB. We have many students using these computers.
I tried reinstalling MATLAB in a different directory , Users/Public, however, activation still requires admin rights.
How can I solve this issue?

We have this exact same issue.
A silent installation is useless when the individual will still need to contact IT to activate the product.
