Hello,
I am using the peakfinder from peakfinder from finding the peaks in a signal as shown in the attachment using the following code
[peakLoc,peakMag]=peakfinder(signal,0.002,0);
plot(1:length(e),e,'-',peakLoc,peakMag,'ro');
But it is detecting the unwanted peaks(peask which are close to each other) which can be seen at samples 331,396,7672,8746,9613(in attached matlab figure).
Can someone suggest if
1)any preprocessing is needed for the signal before finding peaks and
2)how to change the parameters of the peak finder function such that it doesn't detect the peaks which are very close to each(above the samples numbers are given) (can be seen in attached matlab figure).
Thanks.

Did you try contacting the author who wrote the software?

Hi,I wrote a mail to him but got not reply.
I am unable to adjust the function parameters.Can I know how to adjust them in a better way such that it won't detects the nearest peaks. Thanks,
