Hi, I'm using MATLAB Parallel Computing Toolbox to run a rather complicated project and I'm using parprogress to monitor the progress of the script. However, I see the following output and I don't understand the meaning of it:
fileStream::DetectCharset():frea
Does anyone know? Thanks!

Here's a trivial example. Look at the documentation for more information.
function zw
d = parallel.pool.DataQueue;
d.afterEach(@giveUpdate)
parfor idx = 1:20
A(idx) = rand;
send(d,idx)
end
end
function giveUpdate(varargin)
fprintf("Finished simulation " + varargin{:} + "\n")
end

Can't answer this for you, but you might consider looking at DataQueues https://www.mathworks.com/help/parallel-computing/parallel.pool.dataqueue.html so another solution.

Thank you. Not sure if I understood you correctly, are you suggesting another solution to monitor the progress of parfor?
