Find all IDs in pointLocation for point located on boundary of polygon.

1 view (last 30 days)
When we search for a point located on boundary then the largest ID is returned, but I want all the IDs how can I do that?
Is there any other way to find it?

Read about inpolygon function.

If it's a convex cloud, you can just use convhull(). If it is not convex, then you need to define what you mean by the boundary, since there are many 3D envelopes possible for a point cloud. You might consider alphashape(), however..

Thanks for your answer
I am working in 2D, for query point * shown in plot, it is situated on boundary of two triangles 1-7-6 and 1-2-7, but with pointLocation function only largest ID is returned i.e. 6-7-1, I need both.

Did you intend to attach code or a plot? I see none.
In any case, my advice applies in 2D as well.
