Is the workspace selector/browser no longer able to be located in the quick access toolbar?

Upon upgrading to R2021b, I see that the workspace browser/selector (the dropdown list that lets me switch between workspaces) now occupies a horizontal line above my code in the editor. Previously I had it in the quick access toolbar. I cannot figure out how to get it back there--is it no longer possible to have the workspace selector in the quick access toolbar, instead of occupying space above my code files?

Hi Sam,
I understand that after upgrading to R2021b you want to change the workspace browser/selector back to quick access toolbar.
As of MATLAB R2021b, the Workspace browser/selector was moved to the Editor's toolstrip (the horizontal bar above the code) to improve access to the workspace while coding. This was part of a larger redesign of the MATLAB desktop environment aimed at improving the user experience. Currently, there is no built-in option to move the Workspace browser/selector back to the quick access toolbar.
However, toolstrip can be minimized to save space. To do this, under the Home Tab go to the Layout within the Environment Section and uncheck the ‘Toolstrip'. Thís will hide the toolstrip and give more space to work with the code.
Hope it helps!
Best Regards
Simar
