error: MATLAB is selecting SOFTWARE OPENGL rendering.

I am trying to install matlab in Ubuntu and it shows me this error when i try to launch matlab for the first time:
MATLAB is selecting SOFTWARE OPENGL rendering. std::exception: Message Catalog MATLAB:branding was not loaded from the file. Please check file location, format or contents
What can i do ?

Hey Mamata,
I understand that you are having issues while trying to boot MATLAB for the first time after install, in Ubuntu. One workaround could be launching MATLAB with the below flag:
./matlab -nosoftwareopengl
If the above workaround does not work, you can go through the dump logs generated during MATLAB start using the link shared: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/100816
