How do I show only the filename at the top of my editor instead of the full path?

My full paths are like /media/nobu/NTFSUbuWin/GTech/CPS/project2/matlab-simulator/project.m so if I have multiple files open from the same directory and click on the Matlab icon in my task bar in Ubuntu and get those little windows with the window name and miniaturized screen, I cannot tell any of them apart. Ideally, I'd just want to see project.m.

I also have same problem.
Actually my problem is that Matlab is showing the path from the beginning, which is useless information for me.
I need the name of the end-folder, which contains the valuable information. Because folder path is long I can not see the end portion of the path.
There should be some options to toggle between the two visuals.

Hi Nobutaka,
I understand that you want to view only the file name in the taskbar window title instead of the full path name.
There is currently no way to set a preference for what the Editor window displays. The development team is aware of the issue and may consider implementing the feature in a future release.
