I am interested in modelling EV batteries so i hope i can make use of MATLAB to simulate battery models

Starting with MATLAB 2022a you can use Simscape Battery to design and simulate EV battery and battery management system. You can check one of many examples available. You can also check this 3 minutes video about Simscape Battery.
