Using xlsread with multiple delimiters

Hi,
I want to write a script, which can import xlsx, txt and csv files. Therefore I use xlsread. I know it's not recommded, but I have no headers, so readtable is no option. But I struggle to add multiple delimiters into the code of xlsread. I tried this code:
directory_name=uigetdir('','Waehl den Ordner mit den Messungen');
[nur_file_name,pfad]=uigetfile({'*.csv;*.txt;*.xlsx','csv&xlsx&txt-files (*.csv,*.txt,*xlsx)';'*.*','all Files'},...
'Die Intensitäts-Files der Proben oeffnen (probe_001.txt=',...
[directory_name '/'], 'Multiselect', 'on');
[num,txt,raw] = xlsread(filename{xy}, [',' ';' '\t'], 'B1:KR1');
But it is sadly not working in the last line. The delimiters are not accepted in this form. I am grateful for every hint.

I added two sample files. I can read in SMP_3.8.1 without delimiters. But Matlab struggles with SMP_Std.csv. If I open this file in Excel, every row is just in one cell, so I have to tell Matlab that the delimiter is a simple ',', while the other files, xlsx and txt have ';' or '\t'.
The problem with readtable is, that I exclude later several columns and change the input to a char array. And I have to start completely new with the script if I use readtable. I just struggle with the type of files like "SMP_Std.csv".

This tells us that your OS uses another delimiter (e.g. semicolon), so you have to tell Excel to use the comma.
But MATLAB is not Excel.

Tells us what you are actaully trying to achieve, not how you think it can be achieved. For example: "I need the first line of the file in an array, without the single-quotes and square brackets. Each header should be separate, e.g. in a string array or cell arrar of char vectors".
So far we have two sample files. Now tell us: what specific information do you require from those files?

I want to read in the first row from B1:KR1 from my files. It should be a char like above and no table. The problem is that I can just read the csv of Smp 3.8.1, the other one is not accepted by my code:

If it should be "a char like above" (with square brackets) then why did you write code that removes the square brackets? I am guessing that actually you don't want "a char like above" (with square brackets) but in fact you want the field text without the single quotes and square brackets.
Explaining your actual goal, i.e. what you want to achieve (with examples) would be very very helpful.
How important is it for you that you use exactly the same code to process all of those filetypes?
Do the XLS/X files have the data arranged in the same way?

Sure. Those a problems that Excel has due to your OS's delimiter settings (i.e. locale settings).
But that has nothing to do with MATLAB.

No, do not change the function like that (it is invalid sytnax to put any indexing into the function signature line).
I doubt that you need to change the function much, most likely you can just call it like this:
[fnm,pfad] = uigetfile(.. whatever you want here..);
out = firstrow(fullfile(pfad,fnm))
If you do not use FULLFILE then you will have problems with the file not being found.
