need help in generating Lidar data

Hello,

i'm trying to recreate the example of "Scenario Generation from Recorded Vehicle Data" with data of my own. the problem is i don't have lidar sensor, so is there is another way to generate the lidar data to complete the simulation? programmatically perhaps?
