3 views (last 30 days)
i want to find symmetry mainly for character... handwritten . Like "A", "H" are the vertically symmetry and same as "C","K" are the horizontally... so how i find that this latter is symmetry. And how it also work with object have some angle...Because handwritten characters have some angles...
Thanks in advance.

let the matrix be A
if A== fliplr(A)
%this means that it has vertical symmetry
disp(' it is vertically symmetrical ');
end
if A==flipud(A)
%this means that it has horizontal symmetry
disp(' it is horizontally symmetrical ');
end
