Plotting issue with histogram

i need to plot a histogram. I have only 2 bin counts,as follows.(Pls see the attached file)

0.0000 - 0.1000
0.1000 - 0.2000

I have two questions:

(1) This is the code i wrote:

 A=timeD;
 binranges=0.0000:0.1000:0.2000;
 [bincount]=histc(A,binranges);
 figure;
 bar(binranges,bincount,'histc')

Why i am getting an empty figure here?

(2) Using the histogram(in MatLab), can i draw a distribution graph?

What is that? A histogram is already a distribution. And a bar chart is a good way to display it.
