Simulink for Unreal support for UE5?

I would like to use the plugin that allows MATLAB to communicate with Unreal Engine, but it appears to be the case that only UE4 is supported. Are there any plans to support UE5? Or will the plugin work just fine with the new version of Unreal Engine?
Thanks!

Hi Ian,
It is my understanding that you want to know more about the MATLAB integration with UE5 and UE4.
The plugin and integrations provided by MathWorks for UE4 were specifically designed for that version of the engine, and there is no guarantee that they would work seamlessly with UE5.
Regarding upgrades to the Simulation 3D environment, the latest R2024a release now supports running 3D simulations with Unreal Engine 5.1. For additional details on this update, please refer to the release notes available here: www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2024a/sl3d/release-notes.html
You can also look at the following MATLAB answer for more information: www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/1947613-plan-for-updating-the-matlab-interface-for-unreal-engine-5
Hope this helps,
