Hi,
for my research I will use the Vicon Nexus 2.12 and another software which is not integrable to Vicon.
To synchronize the two datastreams in real time I need to be able to remote start/stop the Vicon Capture Session.
Matlab and Vicon are present on the same computer.
Does anybody know how to do it?
Thank you,
Max

Yes, it is possible to remotely start/stop a Vicon Capture Session using MATLAB. To do this, you need to:
1. Load the Vicon SDK in MATLAB using the `actxserver` command.
2. Connect to the Vicon server using the `Connect` method.
3. Use the `StartCapture` method to start the Vicon capture session.
4. Use the `StopCapture` method to stop the capture session.
5. Disconnect from the Vicon server using the `Disconnect` method.
After writing the MATLAB code to start/stop the Vicon capture session, you can call it from your other software using MATLAB's COM automation server capabilities.
