Hi,
I have problems to start MATLAB R13. I see the following error:
'Could not read classpath.txt'
I actually don't have a file with this name, but a folder with this name. I have installed JAVA.
Thank you, Mariya

Under which OS do you try to start this old version of Matlab?

I also faced a similar issue.
To resolve it, try manually uninstalling MATLAB and then reinstalling it. Changing the default installation location to "C:\MATLAB" worked for me and helped eliminate the warning and launch MATLAB successfully.
