The 'duration' operator cannot be bound to more than one state

Stateflow doesn't allow duration operator to be bound more than one state. Does anyone have an alternative? Thanks.

There can be many solutions, one would be placing both a and b into a single parent state the let the parent state exit to State C using the transition condition with duration()
