"Bad cast exception" when trying to open Simulink

I get this error when opening Simulink in Matlan 2022a, 2022b. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi Asit,

The issue is caused by a corruption of the file 'edittimecheckcustomization.json' and deletion will help to resolve this issue, since the file gets recreated.

To resolve this issue, delete the mentioned 'edittimecheckcustomization.json' file or follow this workaround mentioned here: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/99625-how-do-i-regenerate-my-matlab-preferences
