MATLABWindow application failed to launch. Unable to launch the MATLABWindow application. The exit code was: -1073741819

Dear All,

I got this message when i open any app of matlab such as: Curve Fitter, Image Segmenter...etc

MATLABWindow application failed to launch. Unable to launch the MATLABWindow application. The exit code was:

-1073741819

I don't know the reseason.

Could someone help me to fix this issue?

I am using windows 11 64bit and my matlab version is 2022b (latest)

For troubleshooting your issue, please try the below settings:

1. Right click on the MATLAB icon and choose properties.
2. Update as per the below settings (with windows 7 and windows 8) as option and try opening the apps again.

3. If the above steps also didn’t help then try clean installing MATLAB.

This worked for me but matlabe became very slow after activating the compatibility mode.

This worked for me but required a full Windows update in order to run it without compatibility mode
