I want to run a .inp abaqus file through MATLAB and read the results output in the form of odb files. SOme help regarding this would be appreciated

Hi Sagnik,
To execute Abaqus files using MATLAB, you can follow these steps:
system('abaqus job=inputfile_name interactive')
This command should be sufficient to run your Abaqus file from MATLAB(replace the inputfile_name with your .inp file name from Abaqus).
Once the command is executed, you should see the 'odb' files generated in the target directory.
