Hello everybody. I'm new and I just want to ask if is it possible to build a desktop app with Electron or with other tecnologies and link it to MATLAB. Using MATLAB just for the calculus and display the results in the desktop app. And if is not possible, can I use frameworks like bootstrap in the app designer in MATLAB?

Sorry, I think I didn't understand very well. I intend to use matlab, for example, only for solving matrix systems, and then use a desktop application (not using app designer) to view the results and be able to use the matlab code for solving systems.
Excuse me if I ask, but what is Symbolic Toolbox?
Thanks for the answer.

Hi,
Yes, it is possible to build a desktop app with Electron or other technologies and link it to MATLAB for calculation and displaying the results.
One way to do this is by using the MATLAB Engine API for Python, which allows you to call MATLAB functions within Python code. You can then use Electron or other web technologies to build the front-end of the app.
Another option is to use browser technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build the front-end and call MATLAB functions using the MATLAB Web App Server, which provides a RESTful API that you can call from a web client.
Regarding using frameworks like Bootstrap in the App Designer in MATLAB, it is possible to incorporate CSS libraries into App Designer by using the CSS file import feature. You can also use the HTML component to write custom HTML code for more complex UI layouts.
Hope it helps!
