Is it possible to embed non-standard fonts in a simulink model?

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello all,
When creating simulink models, I would like to use non-standard fonts (e.g. Big John, Roboto) to make the models more visually pleasing and inline with our company design guidelines.
The problem is that these models are supposed to be delivered to customers, who may not have these fonts installed and the design would break. I was told to substitute our fonts with standard one such as Arial, but I'm wondering if it is possible to embed the used fonts in the simulink model somehow, so that it's displayed correctly on any PC. That option exists for other documents such as PowerPoint Presentations.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Markus,
It is currently not possible to embed non-standard fonts directly in a Simulink model. Simulink uses system fonts installed on the computer to display text within the model and its components. Simulink relies on the font settings configured in the operating system, and it does not provide an explicit mechanism to embed or import custom fonts. Therefore, the fonts available within Simulink are typically limited to the ones installed on the computer.
Hope this helps.
