Hello Community,
My Model Analyzer for my a Simbiology 2022b file is not saving. When I create a new simulation, and exit from the analyzer while still keeping my Model Builder program open, the simulation file under the documents tab does not reappear. If I save the Model Analyzer, it will try to save the project as a sbio project file which I am unable to open later. I have only recently had this issue, as I was able to genearte a number of simulations and model fit programs under analyzer before, but something happen to prevent me from making additional changes.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,

Hi, Brett,
Thanks for the detailed information. It sounds like you are running into a bug with loading certain projects with fit programs. This bug was introduced in R2022b General Release and has been fixed in R2022b Update 1. https://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/2827329.
You can confirm that this is the root cause by trying to open the project from the Model Analyzer instead of first opening the Model Builder. In this case, you should see an error message: "Unable to load project, the client encountered an exception : TypeError: Cannot set properties of undefined (setting 'ID')".
We recommend that you update your R2022b MATLAB installation to Update 1 or later to access the latest bug fixes. In R2022b Update 1 and later, you should be able to open your project in 22b.
Unfortunately, if you cannot update your installation, you will not be able to open this project in R2022b GR. I can offer one possible workaround to avoid encountering this bug with other projects. The bug is encountered when loading fit programs that have unchecked responses in the DataMap section. Before saving your project, modify your fit programs by deleting unused responses from the DataMap section instead of unchecking them:
Once again, I am very sorry for the difficulties you have encountered with saving and loading your project. If you are still blocked after updating or trying the workaround, please reach out and we will be happy to help further.
Priya

Hi Priya,
Thank you for your help. I'm happy to report that updating Matlab fixed this issue.
Best,
Brett
