Transparent Ceilings (Road) in RoadRunner

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi! I am a newbee in RoadRunner, I am trying to build a parking lot scenario in RoadRunner, and then exporting to CARLA to render the sensor measurements.
The RoadRunner offers a ParkingGarage example scene to start with. However, when looking from below, the ceiling (the floor of upper floor) looks transparent, both in RoadRunner and when exported to CARLA.
As shown in the figure, the walls of the upper floor are visible but the ground is transparent. In other words, when looking from the first floor, the vehicles of upper floors seem floating in the air.
I am wondering ... Is there a way to change the transparency of road materials in different directions in RoadRunner? I also notice that in the bridge example scene, the bridge looks visible from below. Is this a possible solution? Anyone with similar experiences?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Yukuan,
I understand that you want to make roofs opaque to improve the experience with RoadRunner.
I would like to inform you that it is the expected behaviour of the RoadRunner.
Howerever, development teams are informed about your concern and they will acknowledge your feedback in future releases.
Sincerely,
Saksham
