recovering .mlapp file

i developed a matlab application on a work computer. i had the matlab drive connector installed and every time i wanted to work on the application i would open it through the matlab drive. When i finished working or was testing I would hit save and it would be my understanding that it saved to the matlab drive. Over the weekend there was a change on the computer and essentially the default user/previous employee i would sign into, their user account was deleted off the computer. i signed in using my own username and password, downloaded matlab drive connector, and signed in to find that 3 weeks of work was gone. we called the IT company to bring back the default users profile, i signed in, opened up matlab drive to find that its not here either. is there any way to recover my application? thank you

If you visit https://drive.mathworks.com and sign in, then to the left there will be a "Deleted Files" link that might perhaps be usable to restore the files.
