Simulate a multi-segment parabolic mirror matrix

I need to simulate the overall design of the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT). The GMT has not a single primary mirror but 7 single segments, 6 of which are off-axis. To simulate such a mirror it would be easiest to lay an opaque mask over the whole primary mirror that leaves out 7 segments. How can this be done?
