Average-Value DC-DC Converter block

Hi, I want to use Average-Value DC-DC Converter as a buck converter, but I don't khow how it works. I know we can select how this block work( buck, boost or buck-boost converter) but I don't know about other ports and setting.

The Averaged-Value DC-DC Converter is unidirectional, converting DC power from left input to right output. The control input can be duty-cycle, current reference, or voltage reference. For an example about how to use this block check (this example is configured as buck-boost but can be easily changed to buck only):
