I have a code generation workflow that uses custom tlc code that references files and variables that the simulink cache are not natively aware of. I'd like to make use of the simulink cache for speeding up code generation, but i'm not sure how to add custom hooks into the simulink cache checks for determining if models need to be rebuilt. Is there a way to have that desired effect neatly hooked into the simulink cache?

Hi Seth,
I understand from your query that you want to make use of Simulink cache to speed up the process of code generation.
You can make a CMake cache entry for the CMake tool using the ‘target.CMakeCacheEntry’ class. However, since this was introduced in MATLAB release R2022b, I would suggest you upgrade to a newer version if possible. You can learn more about it from the below documentation:
Hope this helps.

Hi Rishi,
Thanks for your answer. However, I'm not sure that would solve my need as the cache I'm referring to is on the code generation step rather than the code compiling step. Do you know of any way to interact with the code generation cache?
