Hi, I would like to know which are the steps I need to follow to use my Matlab remotly when I am already connected with VPN. I know the VPN is working bacause I am using other application or email which without would not work. The problem is that when I try to open Matlab it gives me the License error " License checkout failed.License Manager Error -96 Unable to connect to the license server. Make sure that the client machine can communicate with the hostname listed in the SERVER line of the license file, and that the port listed in the SERVER line is not blocked by a firewall.Troubleshoot this issue by visiting: https://www.mathworks.com/support/lme/96 Diagnostic Information: Feature: MATLAB License path: /Users/vcavucci/Library/ApplicationSupport/MathWorks/MATLAB/R2023a_licenses:/Applications/Matlab/R2023a/MATLAB_R2023a.app/licenses/license.dat:/Applications/Matlab/R2023a/MATLAB_R2023a.app/licenses/network.lic Licensing error: -96,7. System Error: 2".
I have the license information with this format:
SERVER xxxx.xxx.de NNNNNNXXNXNN NNNN
SERVER xxxx.xxx.de NNNNNNXXNXNN NNNN
SERVER xxxx.xxx.de NNNNNNXXNXNN NNNN;
Is there a way to connect directly from vpn without necessarily being connected to the office network to enable the access?

Hello,
I understand that you are receiving error code 96 when trying to connect to a MATLAB instance over a VPN. You can refer to the MATLAB answer linked below which provides the solution to a similar problem.
If the issue still persists, contact the customer support through the link below:
Hope this helps!
