Simulink circuit calculations of current etc

I am using simulink and I get red lines connecting resistors etc and sometimes blue lines is this correct

Hi Garry,

The red line indicates that the connection is not possible. This is because you are trying to connect two blocks that cannot be directly connected .If you want to connect a voltage source you can use the "DC Voltage Source" block. You can find this block in Libarary Browser under Simscape -> Foundation Library -> Electrical -> Electrical Sources.
