Hello
I want to model electrical generator (1000MWe,20kV) protection in simulink, from an IEEE document
What would be the approach to do so? The numbered components for relays are defined in ANSI Standard Acronyms, but these components are not in simulink (but available in ETAP). How should I do it?

Hi Saqib,
I understand that you are looking into the relays components, to implement electrical generator protection in Simulink, you can follow these steps:
You can create custom blocks in Simulink to replicate the functionality of the ANSI standard components.
Use MATLAB functions or Simulink’s built-in block libraries like “protection relay” to simulate the behaviour of each protective device.
You may refer to these documentation link for more information on protective relay
Also you may refer to the following links for Frequency Relay (ANSI/IEEE C37.2 device number 81), Overvoltage relay and distance relay.
