Unexpected two sets of IQ samples from nrCDLChannel nrTDLChannel

I am trying to introduce channel models to my IQ signal data via python and connected to matlab.engine.

Once applied to my waveform, rayleigh data returns one set of real and imaginary IQ data, but CDL and TDL returns two sets of it. I assumed it was because of the two polarization states, changed that to single as shown above, but I still get two sets of IQ samples. Additionally, this is also occuring for nrTDL data that does not involve the transmit antenna. Are two sets of data expected? What do they represent?

I have reviewed the MATLAB part of your code and identified a solution to the issue you are encountering with the "nrCDL channel" producing two waveforms. Below is the MATLAB Code I had used to create the channels and the antenna.

Below is the code I used for the generating the transmitting waveform:

The "nrCDL channel" produces two waveforms due to its default setting of two polarizations. For more details, you can refer to the documentation here:
To obtain a single set of signal output, you need to modify the "ReceiveAntennaArray" to use only one polarization. Here’s how you can do it:
