for loop

in for loop, what is the best way to skip some values of the index variable? for i=1:10;
do something;
end
but skip i=4,6,9

for i = setdiff(1:10, [4,6,9])

one way could be to specify manually the values:
for i = [1 2 3 5 7 8 10]
...
end

yes, but my I indexes through alot of values, and there are only a few of them that I'd like it to skip

skip = [4 6 9];
value(skip) = [];
for i = value
...
end
