Hello i want to save one or more matrix from matlab to excel. i've tried the command:
xlswrite('Data.xls', Hscorr)
where Hscorr is the matrix that i want to save but i've got this error:
Warning: Could not start Excel server for export. XLSWRITE will attempt to write file in CSV format.
why?

xlswrite() requires the Excel COM server. It might be either you don't have MS Excel installed, or you are using a non-PC computer.

Yes. save() with the -ASCII option. Or, dlmwrite(), csvwrite() or fprintf().

And note that it is just a warning: like the warning says, it will write it as text as a CSV file. There are some restrictions, though: you can only write a pure numeric array doing that.
