USRP Ettus B210 for 2x2 MIMO support

Hi,

We are undergraduate students currently working on a project about MIMO and Cognitive radio implementation on LTE networks. According to Mathworks website the current version of the communications system toolbox and the LTE system toolbox only supports operation in SISO mode on the Ettus B210 devices. Is there any way to work around this limitation and run a 2X2 MIMO with one B210 transmitter and one B210 receiver? Does anybody have information about future support for MIMO operations on the B210 device? Are there any other supported devices for this operation?

As of April 2015, R2015a supports MIMO with B210, X300, and X310 radios. See http://www.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/usrpradio/release-notes.html
