stepwise error

When I use stepwisefit I can define 'penter' and 'premove' typing stepwisefit(X,y,'penter',.02,'premove',.10)
However, when I am using stepwise if I type stepwise(X,y,'penter',.02,'premove',.10) I get the error:
??? Error using ==> stepwise Too many input arguments.

The specification for stepwise is
stepwise(X,y,inmodel,penter,premove)
so you don't need the strings 'penter' and 'premove'. You just give the parameter values as the fourth and fifth arguments. However, if you want to specify penter and premove, you do need to give a value for the initial model.
