Error of 'CacheFolder' in accelarator mode in simulink.

16 views (last 30 days)
If I am trying to compile simulink model in accelarator mode , getting error below.
"Terminating build process.contains simulation artifacts that can shadow artifacts in the folder "ABC". specified by 'CacheFolder' and cause unexpected errors. Before you start a simulation, navigate to a folder that does not contain simulation artifacts".
If I am deleting the "simulink_cache.xml" file from slprj then again its generating the same file while compiling the model and giving above error.

Hello @Pinky,
It looks like the "Simulation Cache Folder" is set to some incorrect path which is shadowing the files which are going to be generated for the model which you are working with.
Clear "CacheFolder using the following command and try to simulate the model again:
>> set_param(0, CacheFolder, ‘’);
Or additionally, you can clear the 'CacheFolder' path manually by going to:
MATLAB > HOME > Settings > Simulink > Open Simulink Settings > Simulink Preferences > General > Simulation Cache Folder
You can refer the documentation about Simulink Preferences for more details about the Simulation Cache Folder.z
Hope it helps!
