Blade.stl missing from PDE toolbox

10 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I get the following error:
Error using importGeometry (line 34)
gm = importGeometry(geofilename,varargin{:});
Invalid argument at position 1. File Blade.stl does not exist.
I am using MATLAB 2024a (academic use)
Thanks.

Seems Blade.stl is no longer available although it is still referenced on MATLAB pages:
You should contact Support for help:
figure
gm = fegeometry("Torus.stl");
pdegplot(gm)
figure
gm = fegeometry("Blade.stl");
Invalid argument at position 1. File Blade.stl does not exist.
pdegplot(gm)

If you run the following command in MATLAB
openExample('pde/ThermalStressAnalysisOfJetEngineTurbineBladeExample')
you'll get Blade.stl along with the example that uses it.
I got that OpenExample command from the 'Copy Command' link of the doc Thermal Stress Analysis of Jet Engine Turbine Blade
