TI Radar Toolbox: mmWave Radar Setup error when trying to Test Connection

2 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I have a IWRL6432BOOST EVM. When running mmWaveRadarSetup during Enable Functional Mode>Verify connection>Test Connection
I receive the following error:
The binary is being Successfully loaded with the correct COM port. I have no issue when loading the binary with TI Visualizer. So, I'm now wondering:
1) What binary is mmWaveRadarSetup loading? There is no option which binary to load.
2) I have multiple SDK versions, 05.05.03.00, 05.03.00.02, 05.02.00.02. Will any of these SDK versions work?
When I try to run mmWaveRadar() afterwards I get the following:
From the previous error:
  • the device is connected correctly
  • I tried the three binaries listed above with error resulting from each
  • the device is in functional mode
  • the device was rebooted and reset
If you can provide any insights or guidance with what's going on it will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Khan

Hi
The issue might be due to a mismatch between the hardware, SDK, and the versions supported by the MATLAB support package. Based on the error you're seeing, it’s possible that your board has a different chip version, which may not be fully compatible with the support package. Please reach out to technical support for help with next steps.
Thanks
Gayatri
