Hey Ziyang,
I see you are getting an error of “no valid license file” when tried to launch MATLAB.
Usually, this error occurs when the license information cannot be read properly or has been corrupted. Therefore, new license information must be generated.
As the first step, you can try restarting MATLAB ensuring a stable internet connection and any antivirus software and/or firewalls are disabled. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, follow the below steps in your Windows machine.
  1. Press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard. This should open a small window called "Run".
  2. Enter the following text into the newly opened window: %APPDATA%\MathWorks\licensing\licenses
  3. Press Enter on your keyboard
  4. Delete the license information file found in this folder
This should resolve the error. If you still receive this error, then this is likely a connection-related issue.
