skew and rotation fixing

Hi, I have a problem with skewed and rotated image of car background. I have seen an example for alignment in DIPUM2 book using 'principalcomps' function. There is an example with character alignment. Is it possible to use these functions for car background alignment-skew and angle correction? Is this possible with grayscale images? The image is in attachment. Thank you in advance!
