how to do magnitude and orientation assignment for a key point defined by lowe algorithm.

hi everyone, i am trying to implement lowe's sift algorithm. i am able to find the keypoints but i didn't understand how to do magnitude and orientation assignment to the key point. i hope i will get a answer soon.
