Hi all.
I bought the student version of Matlab yesterday, and would like to install it on my home machine as well as my tablet, so that I can use Matlab at home and at university.
I've already installed it on my home machine, but if I try to install it on my tablet, will it deactivate on my home machine?
Thanks in advance.

I do not have access to the R2015a license Terms and Conditions. The R2014a file that I have access to says that the student version may only be installed on one device.
Installing it on your tablet will not deactivate the laptop one, but you might not be allowed to activate on the tablet until you deactivate the laptop one.

Further note: in the fall of 2013 there was a FAQ entry in the official student version description that said that the student version could be activated on two computers at the same time. However, that faq item has been removed, and the license file that I have access to says the limit is one computer for the student version. It is possible that it has changed again in R2015a but I do not find evidence of that: the last hard evidence is for one computer.
