- Adaptive step size: Based on the estimated error, the solver dynamically adjusts the step size to maintain the desired tolerance level, taking smaller steps when the solution is rapidly changing and larger steps when the solution is smoother.
- Tolerance parameters: RelTol and AbsTol

Hi, Could someone please tell me what the convergence criteria is in ode solvers in Matlab? Thanks!

Hi Hooman,
I know it has been long since you asked this question, but you can refer to the following convergence criteria in ODE solvers in MATLAB:
RelTol - defines the maximum relative error allowed in the solution at each step, meaning the error is compared to the magnitude of the solution itself.
AbsTol - defines the maximum absolute error allowed, useful for ensuring a minimum level of accuracy even when the solution is very small.
