How to extract and solve for some variable within big equation?

Hello, how can i extract and solve for specific variable within a very big equation? I tried to use solve(eq, 'var') but sometimes it gives me something like Warning: Explicit solution could not be found.

But all i need is again just to solve, or get symbolic equation for that specific variable. any ideas? thanks

Sometimes it is not possible to isolate and solve for some variables; sometimes there is no known mathematical technique for solving but it hasn't been proven that it cannot be done; and sometimes the MuPad symbolic engine just doesn't know the technique.

If you post the equation then I will have a look to see if I can find a solution.

thanks alot, i'v got it, they are too cumbersome, so i'll look for different method of solving problem.

It doesn't take all that much for MuPad to complain about not finding an explicit solution once the problem gets beyond degree 4. If you post or email the equation, I'll run it through Maple.
