MATLAB - Stop execution of .m file while Simulink is running

Hi,
I am starting a Simulink simulation from an .m file: set_param('model','SimulationCommand', 'start');
As soon as the simulation is finished I want to continue executing commands, that are written in the same .m file underneath the start command. Is there any way, I can stop execuation of the .m file while Simulink is running and then continue automatically, when it is finished?
Thank you

Use the Simulink sim function instead to start the simulation, that way after the simulation is over the code continues execution.
